This innovative program, spearheaded by DementiaHelp Canada, aims to enhance the safety and well-being of vulnerable individuals in our community, particularly those living with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, autism, or other cognitive conditions.

What is Project Lifesaver?

Project Lifesaver is a specialized tracking and rescue program designed to assist families and caregivers in locating individuals who may wander or become disoriented due to cognitive impairments. Equipped with a unique tracking device, participants wear a small bracelet that emits a radio frequency signal. In the event that a participant goes missing, trained search and rescue teams can use this signal to quickly locate and bring them back to safety.
