Arnprior Lions' 80th Year: Unveiling an Amphitheatre

Arnprior Lions' 80th: A New Amphitheatre Vision
Honoring a legacy that began with the creation of the gazebo in Robert Simpson Park, the Arnprior Lions Club is now embarking on a visionary project as we approach our 80th anniversary in 2026: the development of an Amphitheatre in Hydro Park.
Reflecting on our history of contributing to Arnprior’s community spaces, we are excited to present a new gathering place for the arts and community events. Club members Bill Gardiner and Don Gougeon have taken the initiative, proposing to the Town Council a collaboration that is in step with the Waterfront Master Plan.
Investing $150,000 into the future of our town, the proposed amphitheatre will not only enhance cultural vibrancy but also provide a place for local artists to shine. Shaped like an “A” and standing tall at forty feet, it will be a structure that reflects our town’s character and our club’s dedication.
We welcome the entire Arnprior community to join us in bringing this project to fruition. For an in-depth look and to hear myFM radio’s coverage of our proposal, please follow the link below.
